De-grinch a GRINCH With Gratitude

Have you ever been around a Grinch? If you have, you know who I’m talking about. Someone who takes pleasure in spoiling the pleasure of others.

Is it possible to de-grinch a Grinch? Dr. Seuss thought so. And the citizens of Who-ville are proof that it can be done. But how?

How can those of us who are not as cute as Little Cindy Lou Who de-grinch the grinchiest of Grinches? I dare not attempt to wordsmith verse like the beloved G.O.A.T. Dr. Seuss. But I will offer my thoughts in ACRONYM.

G-R-I-N-C-H: 6 steps to de-grinch the grinchiest of Grinches.

STEP 1

GRATITUDE

Be grateful for the grinches you encounter. Be grateful! Yes, be grateful. Gratitude guides the heart in a positive direction and it grows the heart. Remember what happened when the Grinch saw the gratitude in Who-ville? His heart grew three sizes that day.” Consider the following quote.

Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.
~Henry Ward Beecher

Daily Doable: In how many ways can you show gratitude to the Grinches you encounter? Start with one way and let it guide you into more gratitude. Watch their hearts. They might grow three sizes right in front of you❤️❤️❤️
#DoWhatYouCanNow

As a footnote to this story, I would like to share the song, “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch.” My son LOVES this version by VoicePlay. Their harmonies our incredible. Enjoy!
