The Secret To True Learning: It Involves Someone Very Close To You
Today’s quote comes from Benjamin Franklin, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
Notice, to really learn involves more doing on your part. You must become engaged in the process for learning to happen.
Daily Doable: If you want to REALLY learn, then get involved. There’s no better way to learn than doing. Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.
There’s nothing more rewarding on multiple levels than getting involved with some undertaking.
Did you ever have a professor who actually practiced what he or she taught? Those were the individuals I paid attention to. Not just someone who was in academia?
Ask yourself, in how many ways can I get involved. By that, I mean look for opportunities to get involved whether it’s at school, at work or at home.
